1022X04 - Flame Flower 1 - Triangle

This set is a good choice in a custom quilt where the size of blocks varies and also where there is applique or embroidery involved. This triangular pattern is designed to fit TIGHT in a setting triangle with a base (long edge) of 15". It can be sewn out effectively at half it's size, and it a great choice for use in an ON POINT quilt where your sewing head might not be able to sew the whole block at once.

Provided 12" square, we found this block sewed out effectively from 5" - 15". This pattern is great when you have a small embroidered or appliqued item in the middle of a larger block. It also works great with 1022X03 as a "filler" in the center.

1022X07 - Flame Flower 1 - Border and Corner

Provided 8" high, this pattern set is effective at as small as 5" and as large as 10". The border portion is POINT TO POINT and can be used as an edge to edge pattern as well. The corner is a very slight "L", making this an easy set to create a continuous single line border on a quilt. This set is a good choice in a custom quilt where the size of blocks varies and also where there is applique or embroidery involved.

Our unique block collections let you simplify piecing for both yourself and your customers! Get more custom business (or get your quilts done much quicker) by using our block collections in plain (or very simple pieced) blocks. Use a contrasting and/or double thread for more pronounced design. Provided 12" square, these designs can be sewn out as large as 18", and as small as 6". Remember to shorten stitch length and slow your system down at smaller sizes to capture all the detail! We actually sewed these out at 3" using Magnifico thread by Superior and they looked JUST like embroidery.

1023X01 - A Little Lacey Lacey - Motif 1

This pattern features a full block at 12" square, plus a half block and quarter block for ease of layout. The pattern has an open center which is perfect for showcasing a small embroidered motif, elaborate piecing (or 3D), or photo. We also found this block very effective on a nine-patch style block. 18" is the largest size recommended, and 8" the smallest. However, there is no reason not to sew it smaller, as long as you are willing to shorten stitch length and slow down your system!

A wonderful motif with a octagonal/circular flavor. We've included a spacer that complements the look of the main block and is created proportional to it, PLUS a half block and quarter block for convenience. The ideal pattern for a large "snowball" type of quilt that has blocks with cut-off corners. Provided 15" square, this block can be sewn as large as 20" and as small as 9". Smaller is also possible, and will create a embroidered look!
