Bargello quilts are unique and can be both easy and challenging depending on the design. This Basic Bargello Recipe simplifies the process of creating your first Bargello quilt with easy to follow instructions, diagrams with handy checklists, and lots of illustrations. Detailed instructions are included to create a lap quilt, baby quilt or wall hanging in either 40” x 60” or 48” x 48” size. A bonus diagram with notes is also enclosed for making bed-sized Bargello Quilts. While simple enough for a beginner, this pattern does require that you are comfortable handling narrow strips of fabric for piecing. The most important thing is that you can maintain a consistent ¼” seam allowance and can accurately cut strips.
